This one day workshop shows how all of us can benefit from regular coaching in the art of being assertive. How to get what we want in a non threatening or emotional way is a valuable skill.
Looking initially at individual style this course is designed to enable delegates to identify their preferences and adapt their style to becoming more assertive.
Closely looking at the differences between being assertive and being aggressive without realising, this course is of real benefit in improving an individual’s performance within their teams, making them feel better about themselves and unlocking surprising talents in those who are naturally passive.

This Assertiveness Skills Course is designed to cover the following areas:
- Exercises reveal individual preferences and make delegates self aware.
- The benefits of being assertive are worked through in meaningful exercises which give practical advice
- Timing ! – how and when to appropriately use assertive techniques, while it’s important to maintain an assertive approach it’s equally important to know when to be discreet !
- Plenty of opportunities to practice assertive techniques with feedback in a safe environment.
- The opportunity to discuss a charter of personal rights.
