The Effective Personal Development � Level 2 Course has been written to provide you with greater knowledge and understanding of the key skills you personally require for increased effectiveness in the workplace and will help to improve your workplace knowledge and relationships.

The course covers varying aspects of everyday workplace disciplines and is an ideal overview course for personal development.
The programme is designed to help you convert the theory of personal development into practice and assist you in becoming more efficient and confident as an individual in the workplace.
On successful completion of the home study courses students will receive a recognised level 2 award (Comparable to working at GCSE or NVQ Level 2).
The good news is that no prior learning knowledge or experience is essential to take this course. This course is openly available to anyone wishing to learn more about care planning and documentation and would like to take part in highly rewarding home study courses.
You have the freedom to start the course at any time and continue your studies at your own pace for a period of up to 12 months from initial registration, with full tutor support.

Pre-Requisites:
There are no particular entry requirements.

You will be provided with comprehensive materials designed to provide you with everything required to complete your course of study. You will have your own dedicated tutor who will guide you through your course work and answer any questions you may have.

Assessment:
You will be assessed on coursework which is detailed in the course materials.
The Ascentis certificate is gained by successfully completing a series of assignments together with an end of course multi-choice questionnaire.
Qualification:
The award is gained from your coursework so there is no exam to complete.
On successful completion of this course students will be awarded an Effective Personal Development � Level 2 Award.
This award has been independently accredited at a level of learning equivalent to level 2 on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) and is comparable to working at GCSE or NVQ Level 2.
The award is issued through NCFE. NCFE is recognised as an awarding body by the qualification regulators ('regulators') for England, Wales and Northern Ireland. The regulators are the Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulator (Ofqual) in England, the Department for Children, Education, Lifelong Learning and Skills (DCELLS) in Wales and the Council for Curriculum, Examinations and Assessment (CCEA) in Northern Ireland.
Accreditation by NCFE is a guarantee of quality. It means that this learning programme has been scrutinised and approved by an independent panel of experienced educational professionals and is quality audited biannually by NCFE.
