A range of topics will be explored throughout the 6 workshops and include:

• Language - People use language in very specific ways without even realising it, and a coaching leader notices the specifics and uses language to help people to break through barriers that might be holding them back. We will explore how people use language and various coaching tools and techniques which will help you to communicate more effectively with your team.
• Problems and solutions - Often people will implement a solution and then wonder why the solution did not address the problem it was meant to solve, or it creates another problem. We will explore coaching techniques that will help you to fully understand any given problem, and tools to help you to explore solutions with your team to ensure that you reach the right solution, first time around.
• Gaining commitment from your team - How do you get your team to think for themselves, come up with solutions and deliver on their agreed actions? It takes good questioning and listening skills. But that is not as easy to do well as it sounds. We will explore tools and techniques that coaching leaders use when questioning and listening that encourage the individual to come up with and take ownership of their own actions.
• Delegation skills - Many managers are bogged down because their staff are constantly interrupting them, with questions that they really shouldn't need to be asking. We will explore different ways to delegate and encourage individuals to take personal responsibility and initiative.
• Understanding difference -  Why is it that you can never see eye to eye with one particular person? How come some staff you just give them a snippet of instruction and off they go, but someone else needs war and peace? We will explore differences in personality types and learning and thinking styles and help you to identify how coaching leaders tailor their approach to get the best out of individual team members.
• Handling conflict - Conflict in the workplace can be very damaging for an organization, but if handled well can be really constructive for the company.  We will explore different ways to handle conflict to make sure that it is beneficial for the company.

The cost of the Leadership Coaching programme is £750 + VAT for members, £900 + VAT for non members.
